Telehealth Guidelines

Internet Connection: Home internet is required. If disconnected, I will contact you by then phone call after two minutes of disconnection.

Stable Location: Be in a well lit, stable location. If you are moving around your home, the video quality can become compromised.

Equipment: Telehealth can take place on a computer, phone, or tablet. Noise cancelling headphones can limit distraction.

Presentation: Whole face and upper body are recommended to be in frame.

Background: Ensure any background noises are kept to a minimum (television, food baking, device notifications).

Privacy: Privacy is required. No one else should be in the room and any open doors to shared spaces should be closed.

Physical Location: Clients must be located in the state where they live and where the therapist is licensed at the time of the appointment.

Substance Use: Substance use (alcohol, cannabis, vape, tobacco products, etc.) is not permitted during session, unless taking prescribed medications.
